Last week I started to venture out a bit with BattleKid, starting with a trip to Cacela Velha. There isn’t much in this quaint little village apart from a few restaurants, a church and a police station. However, what it does have is a lovely view of the Ria Formosa. We went early in the morning and were back before it got too hot.
BattleDad had been wondering what was there but wasn’t with us due to a work trip to Paris. He didn’t really miss that much, but I do think we might check out the restaurants down there. It’s only a 10 minute drive from our home but the view was worth it. And I’m sure the food will be as good, as so far we haven’t been disappointed with the food we’ve eaten out here in Portugal.
