We went up to Northern Portugal on Friday so that BattleKid could have his first ever lesson on a motorobike. We arrived late afternoon to town called Lousa and before finding a restaurant for dinner, we drove to the castle nearby for a walk. And we found autumn in Portugal.
It was completely unexpected. In the Algarve we are seeing one or two trees’ leaves changing colour but we found autumnal reds, browns, light greens and even acorns. It seems autumn does indeed visit Portugal, albeit in the North of the country. I was thrilled and took a few pictures that I’m sharing here.
