It’s that time of the month again for #Wanderlustkids and I have no idea where April went. I cannot thank you all enough for linking up your great posts to Wanderlust Kids in April. I thoroughly enjoyed reading them all and have gained yet more inspiration. I need to win the lottery to do everything you’ve all suggested. There were also some brilliant hints and tips posts shared. Again, I’ve decided to share a synopsis of everyone’s post that linked up.
Sarah from Boo Roo and Tigger Too shared her post about travelling with Greater Anglia Network for a #RailAdventure. I had forgotten how enjoyable and easy train journeys can be, especially with not having to worry about parking. Plus Sarah and her family got to ride the most amazing steam engine of the Harry Pottery-type.
Kara, who blogs at Are We Nearly There Yet? Told us all about their Stay, Play and Explore short break in Leicestership during which they visited the National Space Centre, Bolsover Castle, Twycross Zoo and Kenilworth Castle, which looks great for dragon hunting.
Kellie, from My Little Babog, went to the Martinhal Cascais Luxury Hotel in Portugal to see just how family friendly they are. Between watching her Snapchat form her visit and reading this review, Martinhal certainly excel in family friendliness. And sicne we’ll soon be located in Portugal it could be the perfect place for us to have a family weekend away!
Charlene from High Heels and Fairy Tales shared their dolphin swimming experience from Mauritius. What an amazing experience and place to do it in!
Lisa who blogs at Baby Loves Travel shared a great hints and tips post for using the London underground with a baby in tow. I must admit we avoided London when BattleKid was younger but her post just goes to show London and its underground are more than doable with a baby.
Welsh Cakes and Wellies shared with us why Morzine in France makes the perfect destination for a family friendly ski holiday. I love the sound of the horse drawn carriage and snowmobiling.
Jo of Intrepid Bebe shared her hints and tips for flying with babies, and how it could actually be better than a day at home. Great tips for parents considering their first flight with a baby (or toddler) in tow.
Janine from Families Magazine share all you need to know about travelling to China as a family. She went solo with her son and visited all the places I’d love to go with BattleKid. Her trip sounds amazing, especially tobogganing down from the Great Wall of China. How cool would that be!
And last but by no means least, Rupreet of RupEAT shared Part 1 of their family holiday to South Africa. With their toddler, who I get to see on Snapchat on occasion. The food they had looked and sounded amazing and the chefs Warehouse would be right up my street!
I thoroughly enjoyed reading all the posts last month and cannot wait to see what will be linked up this month. Personally, I am linking up a post I wrote last month about where and how our Dragon Hunting Adventures began. I’ve been meaning to write this series up and since finishing work a few weeks back I’ve started catching up.
My ‘Wanderlust Kids’ linky will open on the 1st of each month for you to link up a post, old or new, which involves travelling with kids. It can be about a day out, a family holiday, somewhere new your children discovered or a post with tips about travelling with kids. As long as it features kids and is travel based it can be linked up. The following month I will feature some of my favourites, linking back to the owner’s blog.
So, if you’d like to join in, just grab the badge below, add it to your post and link up your post via the link up button below. Please make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment.
Don’t forget that throughout the month you can use #WanderlustKids on your Instagram photos which involve travelling with kids. These photos can be abroad, home or days out, so long as they feature your children and have a travel theme attached with it. Each fortnight I will pick my favourites to showcase.
I look forward to reading your posts, maybe gaining some inspiration.
