We have never let kids get in the way of things we’ve wanted to do. We’ve just made sure that what we are doing works for all of us. The only hard part is dealing with the same behaviours you have if you were at home but amplified 😉 Thanks for you post. It has reaffirmed to me why travelling is so much fun with kids.

I love sharing adventures with my daughter who is now 8, she’s a brilliant little traveller, she doesn’t whinge and she loves seeing new places. We went to Paris in summer 2018 and taking it slower was so wonderful, I booked an air bnb experience that I probably would have overlooked if I wasn’t travelling with my daughter and it was a guided walk along the Seine and it was brilliant I’m so glad we did it. I’ve just caught on to airbnb too and I don’t see me returning to hotel stays anytime soon either.Great post 🙂

So much positivity! I love seeing the world through my children’s eyes and like you say you visit places you might not have thought about if you didn’t have children. It’s not always easy with overtired youngsters but I always love our family adventures both in the UK and further a field. Just wish I had the budget to do more trips! x
