We live in the south but we’re so glad we took time to visit some of the central part of Portugal. North Portugal is next on our list.

I wanted to visit Nazare but finally I didn’t have the time and went only to Figuera da Foz which was just mind blowing – an endless beach. I’m sure your kids would enjoy that, too.

It’s a shame you missed the cable car in Nazare with the fog but exploring the Monastery of Batalha seems like a good trade off. The town of Obidos looks so quaint! I don’t know much Central Portugal so it was great to find out more.
