The activities seem like they are great for kids (especially the visit to Santa!) but…I have been dreading the bundling with a 5 year old. We are from Texas and even Aspen winters have been rough with small kids. But, your post helps me be more confident that we could do it…..for next year that is—-this year we are doing sunny Mexico!!! They give you suits for the outdoor nighttime stuff anyway. My friends knitted me socks and these socks were excellent, so if you can get some, do that.
It was minus 15-20 each day but really not that bad (coming from Australia, I thought it would be worse). You are outside all the time so it’s sort of weird that it’s not unpleasant. #wanderlustkids
