He’s probably getting to the right age. Our son was on his balance bike until he was three and a half and took to peddling very quickly x

Amy, that’s exactly it, other people you have to watch out for. We see it even more here in Portugal, but some bikers are just as much to blame. We figured this is a sensible way to start his career. And that’s not to say he’ll always be on bikes but I suspect he will be. Trials is a slow and controlled sport and I’d be very happy with him continuing with it. BattleDad has trained with the police in the UK and is a fully qualified advanced motorbike instructor, and we will get BattleKid all the training we can to ensure he’s as safe as we can make him.

Hubby had a Fireblade but I didn’t find it comfortable at all. The bike I was on the most was his ZZR1400. I loved that bike x

Yes, that’s my only worry with this bike, that we won’t find many places for him to go, although green laning is still allowed in Portugal so we might get lucky!
