Last June we had a lovely surprise message from a good friend from Wales to say he would be visiting Lisbon with his fiancée and he wondered if it would be possible to meet up with us. We hadn’t seen M in years and were yet to meet his new fiancée, so BattleDad had a look to see where a halfway point for us would be to meet up. And as it turned out, we got to take BattleKid on a dragon hunting adventure at Beja Castle at the same time. Here is our post about visiting Beja Castle With Kids.
I have the pleasure of welcoming another guest blogger, Roger of Expert World Travel to the blog. Today he is sharing with us why Croatia should be on your family travel bucket list. As my regular readers will know, Croatia has been on our family travel bucket list for some time now and it’s topping the list for where we do our next road trip, so I’m so pleased to host this guest post. Will this post make you want to visit Croatia? I bet it does!
So, big changes are afoot again on the blog. BattleMum is changing and in a big way. From next week, if things go smoothly, this blog is getting a complete change of identity as I am rebranding. I am changing my domain (that’s the blog website address) and hence name to…….
Passports and Adventures.
One thing we always seek out when visiting new places are castles. Ever since our son’s first visit to Tretower Castle at the age of two and a half, he has enjoyed visiting castles with us because we make a game out of it. It means we get to enjoy historical sites even with a young child in tow. We have visited some of the best castles to see in Ireland and Wales, but here is a list of the best castles to visit with kids in the world, compiled with the help of my fellow travel bloggers.
India, mysterious, magical and mesmerising, is a country that features in most travellers’ bucket list. Even the most of seasoned travellers are amazed on their holidays in India. That is definitely not without cause. The potpourri of delights, challenges, rewards and in total creates memories of a lifetime.
Make the most of the delightful experiences offered, as you plan a family holiday in India with kids. The little ones will absolutely love the places and things to do in India. The experiences children have in the country will help them develop as open-minded personalities with a zest for adventure.
